I remember first hearing this album on a local afternoon radio program in San Francisco in the 1980s..."Freeway Funnies" on KEST-AM hosted by longtime Bay Area radio personality Les Malloy which was a 2 hour block of clean comedy records and old time humorous radio programs. The Backus album was hilarious with the pun-filled "TV Repairman" skit and the obnoxious airplane passenger skit.My favorites were "The Dirty Old Man" and "Frigid" with Backus using his old man Mr. Magoo voice performing in situations that Mr. Magoo probably might not do in the cartoons. The cartoon sound effects in the censoring of the "Dirty Old Man's" language added a lot with the Magoo voice. The album was produced and written by Hudson and Landry and their familiar voices can be heard in supporting roles on the Backus album.
