An adaptation of the Henrik Ibsen play - a work which examines the strictures imposed on 19th century women and the effects of shame. Losey makes good use of the Norwegian locations. Jane Fonda plays 'Nora' with support from Edward Fox, Delphine Seyrig, Trevor Howard and David Warner.
