Victor Borge originally became a radio favourite on the extremely popular Bing Crosby radio shows. Originally hailing from Denmark Borge quickly adapted to the English language, using its many idiosyncrasies to deliver classic comedy sketches like ""Phonetic Punctuation"" and ""Inflation Language"", both included on this superbly packaged compilation. A highly-skilled concert pianist, Victor Borge was most adept at utilising the piano as a musical prop as a device to engineer raucous laughter. A very funny man with immaculate comic timing and sadly missed.
